Analog Photography Night is a monthly gathering and discussion for analog photographers. This months theme is SHOW US YR FILM. Forget about words, analog photography speaks for itself. 

We will have a temporary gallery set up for people to exhibit their work for the night. There will also be food, music, and tours of the darkroom.

Photographers! Supporters of analog photography! Tomorrow night we are having a fundraiser/meet-n-greet at Streetside Bar in Logan Square, Chicago. 9pm. Come out and bond and give your most generous donation to Negative Space!

We have holes in the cieling of our darkroom. The landlord will do nothing. We have been planning our move for some time and this only makes it all the more urgent to move to a much larger, more accommodating space. We want to expand our offerings along with this. Help us out!

Negative Space is pleased to announce two workshops for those interested in learning the essence of traditional photography: developing your negatives and making prints from them.

December 13th Black and White Film Negative Developing Workshop

$10

6pm

Bring in an undeveloped roll of black and white film and learn how to develop it. Chemistry and equipment included. Make a night of it!

December 15th Black and White Printmaking Workshop

$10

6pm

Learn how to make prints of those black and white negatives you just developed at the Negative Developing Workshop or bring in your favorite.

Chemistry, paper, equipment included.

In addition to Negative Space being open to members 24 hours a day/seven days a week, Negative Space will be open to the world-at-large four days a week for tours, collaboration, dropping by, questions or help.
